Tinylog Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?

Who Is It For?

Parents with newborns, especially first-time parents who are anxious about whether their baby is on track. If you are busy, working, and don't have time or headspace to track everything yourself, Tinylog does a lot of the heavy lifting. It's for you if you want one place to track feedings, sleep, and milestones instead of keeping it all in your head or in Apple Notes.

What I Like

The app is a clear source of truth. You log things, and you stop wondering, "Did I do it? Did I not? Is this metric good or not?" That cuts down anxiety and stress. You get a more careful, conscious approach without the mental load.

I also like that Tinylog is very functional. It doesn't try to be what it's not. It's just a helpful assistant. My friend who recently became a parent loved it. If you want a better and more convenient version of Google Sheets or Apple Notes to keep everything in one place and get help when you need it, the app is really good.

What Could Be Better

Tinylog is newer, so it has a smaller user base and fewer reviews than apps that have been around for years. It doesn't have SweetSpot-style nap timing predictions like Huckleberry, or a community or forum like Glow Baby. It doesn't have the depth of customization that something like Baby Connect offers. So if you need those things, you might look elsewhere. If you mainly want to track feedings, sleep, and milestones without the extra bells and whistles, the limitations might not matter.

Verdict

I'm not a parent myself, but I gave Tinylog to a friend who recently became one, and we both think it's great for the right use case. If you are a first-time parent who is anxious about your baby and wants to reduce the amount of things you keep in your head, Tinylog is incredible. Highly recommended.
